1946 Super Deluxe was bid up to nearly $250,000. The dark blue Õ46 was originally discovered on a farm by Santa Cruz member Ron Heiden. After selling the car to Ron, the farmer handed him a shovel and gave him general directions as to Òwhere to dig to find the parts.Ó RonÕs meticulous restoration made it a stand-out at Woodies on the Wharf several years ago and when he decided to sell it, Nick Alexander stepped up. Wanting to return the car to its original state, Nick yanked the modern freeway-friendly V8 Ron had installed and replaced it with a period-correct flathead motor.br/>
