The O.F.C.C.crew was on hand for the Lead Sled Nationals and many of the great Kustoms from all over the country were there. Lots of fun and relaxed times. We also got to meet some of the real legends of the custom car hobby and they all became members of the Old Farts Car Club. Names like George Barris, Gene Winfield, Dick Dean, Joe Bailon, Frank DeRosa, And Jim Hibbs head of Kustoms of America. It was a personal pleasure for me to be with these guys at this event. As a kid growing up, these were my heroes. Reading of the artistry of this group was a regular ritual for me as a kid. One of my best friends dad owned the drug store and we would sit in the basement and read the little rod books each month before they went on the stands. Now, many years later, here they were at the neat show in the Tennessee mountains.
