One of the prettiest cars at the show was the grand prize Giveaway 61 Thunderbird
The "ULTRA BIRD II" Designed by Steve Stanford, Approved by George Barris, is a 1961 "T" Bird being built for Kustoms of America by Larry Henson, owner of Larry's Body Shop in Belmont, NC, with help from other KOA members in his area.
The car will be upholstered by Jerry Hobgood, owner of Hobgood's Upholstery, also in NC. Painted by Gene Winfield with paint donated by Dupont.
