"Rude Dude"

Joe Gentile's 1951 Ford Panel was originally purchased in Costa Mesa, CA and was brought back to New Jersey and customized by Joe and his friends, Jack and Ritchie. Body Modifications include reworked hood with functional scoops in the front and rolled pan in the rear. All body seams are filled and a custom running board to make it appear as a one piece body. All door handles are removed and electric solenoids are used. The truck was rewired by the owner using Ron Francis Wire Works components. Then the truck was taken to Cash Graphics in Elizabeth, N.J.

Mongo airbrushed murals depicting the trip from Cal. to N.J. It also has a mural on the back depicting the trucks fight not to be customized. Bunky did the pinstriping and Dennis is responsible for the shiny paint.

The truck has Stewart-Warner Wing gauges, and Hurst Slapstick with a 327 Chevy engine with a ATH 400 automatic transmission.A 9inch rear takes the power to the ground. It's truly fun to drive and Joe drove it from New Jersey to Daytona Beach just for this show and we enjoyed having Joe in the tent.
